Book Study

For the study part of your chapter meeting you can do a book study.

One of the first problems to resolve after you have decided to do a book study is to make three decisions:

What kind of book would the Brothers Andrew like to study and what background of knowledge. If you get a too difficult of a book the Brothers Andrew might not feel challenged but overwhelmed.
Who is going to lead or coordinate the study?
What book are you going to study?
How many Chapter meeting are you going to devote to the study?

Additionally, you might consider:

The cost of the book
Where the books can be purchased?
Is the Chapter going to buy the books and have the members reimburse the price of the book. Are there members who can not afford the book?
Remember the Discipline of Study states both the teaching of the Church and the Bible. Although it is important. Don't assume it has to be Bible Study
Is there a study guide for the book?

For suggestions on what books to study ask your clergy or other Brotherhood leaders in the diocese or in the National Brotherhood.
