Book
Study For the study part of your chapter meeting you can do a book study. One
of the first problems to resolve after you have decided to do a book study is
to make three decisions: | What kind of
book would the Brothers Andrew like to study and what background of knowledge.
If you get a too difficult of a book the Brothers Andrew might not feel challenged
but overwhelmed. | | Who is going to lead or coordinate the study? | | What
book are you going to study? | | How many Chapter meeting are you
going to devote to the study? | | |
Additionally,
you might consider: | The cost of the
book | | Where the books can be purchased? | | Is the
Chapter going to buy the books and have the members reimburse the price of the
book. Are there members who can not afford the book? | | Remember
the Discipline of Study states both the teaching of the Church and the Bible.
Although it is important. Don't assume it has to be Bible Study | | Is
there a study guide for the book? |
For suggestions on what
books to study ask your clergy or other Brotherhood leaders in the diocese or
in the National Brotherhood. |
